THE SHORT FILM THE BIRDMAN OF SKOMER FOR UNDERDOGS FILMS PRODUCERS. BEFORE THAT, THE FEATURE FILM MY ALASKAN JOURNEY FOR AWARD WINNING CAMERAWOMAN ERIN RANNEY. THE FILM HAS BEEN WELL RECEIVED AROUND THE WORLD WINNING AWARDS AT PRIDELANDS FILM FESTIVAL IN AFRICA AND THE TORONTO INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL.
PREVIOUSLY JOSH CREATED THE ENERGETIC SCORE FOR THE NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC SERIES SKY SHARKS, A 2X50 SERIES ABOUT HOW SHARKS AND HUMANS INTERACT WITH EACH OTHER. PRODUCED BY WILDSTAR FILMS FOR DISNEY+ AND NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC.
HE ALSO COMPOSED BESPOKE MUSIC FOR MONTREAL BASED DANCER AND CHOREOGRAPHER CHARLES CARDIN-BOURBEAU FOR HIS PERFORMANCE AND FILM A CAGE (FOR THE EMPRESS) AT THE PORTUGUESE BIENNALE.
JOSH IS CURRENTLY WRITING MUSIC INSPIRED BY THE SEASONS IN QUEBEC TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY DANCERS IN A STAGE PERFORMANCE ENTITLED, L’ESTRIE TRANQUILLE THAT WILL PREVIEW IN LATE 2026.
